Ghostbusters Drive-In Suprise amid remake’s pushback

 

 

Culver City, CA – August 16, 2020 – Jason Reitman introduces a screening of the original Ghostbusters at the Sony Pictures drive-in on the historic Sony Pictures lot.

 

Screenings of the original Ghostbusters film continued at drive-ins across the country due the global pandemic, yet at one special screening in Culver City, LA audiences got a special treat. The director of the upcoming new Ghostbusters film, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Jason Reitman introduced the film with the original ghostbusters mobile, the Ecto. Reitman making the speech at the historic Sony Lot was a special moment as the reboot Ghostbusters: Afterlife was set to release this summer. More details and the movie trailer below.

 

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan. The cast includes: Carrie Coon Finn Wolfhard Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd.
