TV ONE’s Newest Start Studded Film Runaway Island is Releasing Saturday, Don’t Miss It!

What happens when five people from different walks of life, come together on an island? That’s one question that is answered on TV One’s new original movie “Runaway Island,” a new two hour television movie written by Christopher Brandt; the 2014 American Black Film Festival screenplay competition winner.

With a great ensemble cast this movie takes you to a lush tropical island off the beaten path. A refuge called Isle du Soleil, a secluded 1700s Gullah Sea Island. As the story progresses everyone examines their relationships, lives and futures. This back drop of lush beauty makes you feel that life is not all that bad, and all your problems can be worked out on the Isle du Soleil.
